Palangga ko ni Lord

Hiyee mga ka-KNOT!

After those first week holidays, there are birthday celebrations this month that we are happy about. It is the birthday month of our reporter, my “Bingks” John Frances Fuentes and our marketing in-charge, Sir Felix Tabuclin. We are thankful for the gifts of their presence: John, who for almost 8 long years has covered almost all of our parish fiestas, ordinations, and seminars, and of course, Felix who has helped so much to keep Davao Catholic Herald’s circulation going. The Pledge scheme of DCH is his brainchild. To both of you, thank you with all our best prayers in the world.

Meantime, here are additional reasons for us to be inspired of. Salamat sa mga batan-on sa Sto. Rosario Parish who expressed their love to God through this corner.

“God really loves me, because even though I have a broken biological family, He still gave me another family who gives me care, love and support that I needed. I know God is still here with me who will guide my way and who will never leave me in times of circumstances. I know that He has a great plan for me that’s why He gave me this kind of life.” – Mariecon, HP4 GKK Sta. Teresa

– Janine Marie Rodriguez, St. Athanasius, the Great Choir

“God really loves me because even though my family is broken, God still gave me the courage to overcome the pain. He gave me supportive and fun friends. I have a loving grandmother who took care of us since we were kids and the opportunity for my family to bring back the happiness, bonding and love despite having this broken family.” – Christine Joy L. Rodriguez, St. Athanasius, the Great Choir

“Forever is not enough to thank God for everything. Indeed, every day I am thankful for all the blessings despite the laziness in serving Him, sometimes. I am still here serving Him in our Church for 6 years and beyond, hopefully. I will not be tempted to do things that are against His will. I will do the best that I can to serve God (with His grace, of course). -Myca Candia, HP-4 Sta. Cruz Daliao

– Marinei Mandabon, Sto. Rosario Parish
