Truth of Jesus’ Resurrection

It is the belief of the biggest religious group that holds that Jesus rose glorious from the dead three days after His crucifixion. His death by crucifixion and His resurrection is attested by history since year 1. In fact the world counts the years beginning from the birth of Jesus.

The question is: What about those who do not believe that such facts took place? First of all, they have to inquire about the facts with a sincere and truthful heart. There is truth in what Jesus said: “Everyone who seeks, finds” (Mt. 7:8). But we expect that from a sincere heart, uncorrupted by biases or material and vested interests. Then also faith is a gift or grace from God for which we must humbly ask. Nobody is forced to believe. It’s only through the gentle invitation of God’s Spirit. Yet one has to be open to history and ponder if such a huge group of believers that accept the Resurrection of Jesus can really be in the wrong.

Remember the expression: “You can fool some of the people all the time, all of the people sometime, but you cannot fool all the people all the time.”
