Right Orientations

Orientations could be right or wrong. Truth is one after all. What may seem true at times turns out as mere superficial treatments of the truth. As Francis Bacon once said, “When evil pretends to be good it is the worst for it.”

Many orientations today pretend to help the poor yet the aftermath of their actions is more jobless people, as well as more anger, dissatisfaction and dissension, and more violence. This cannot be from God, who is a “God of peace and not of disorder” (1 Cor. 14:33). You can know a tree by its fruit (Mt. 7:15).

Well was it said that truth comes from discussion. So if there is dialogue rather than angry words and swords, there will certainly be more peace than war. Let there be a free invasion of ideas, with stakeholders not seeking monopoly or control of the media.

Truth will out sooner or later.
