Circular No. 41
Series of 2015
09 September 2015

TO: ALL PARISH PRIESTS, CHAPLAIN OF PUBLIC CHAPELS, PANGULO SA LITURHIYA, AND ALL THE FAITHFUL IN THE ARCHDIOCESE OF DAVAO

RE: 50th YEAR OF KASAULOGAN SA PULONG – PANGULO SA LITURHIYA

Peace!

The Kasaulogan sa Pulong – Pangulo sa Liturhiya (KSP-PSL) is now on its 50th year in the Archdiocese of Davao. The KSP-PSL was started in 1965 by the PME Fathers through Rev. Andre Pigeon, PME at St. Joseph the Worker Parish in Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur, then part of the Archdiocese of Davao.

The Kasaulogan sa Pulong has been instrumental in the building up and strengthening of our Gagmay’ng Kristohanong Katilingban (GKKs) or Basic Ecclesial Communities (BECs). In our Sunday celebrations in the absence of a priest, the celebration of God’s Word is brought to our GKKs through the valuable service and commitment of our Pangulo sa Liturhiya (PSLs).

As we hold on together in faith, hope and love, and continue to build up communities of disciples of Jesus Christ in the local Church of Davao, I am requesting for your wholehearted support to the year-long diocesan celebration of our KSP-PSL. Also, I hereby declare the month of November each year as KSP-PSL Month in the Archdiocese of Davao beginning November 2015.

With prayers and best wishes, I remain

Devotedly yours in Christ,

+ROMULO G. VALLES, D.D.
Archbishop of Davao
