ECHAMP Vote Elections

Vote

ECHAMP Vote ElectionsThis Presidential elections has a special meaning for us. Among the five candidates, two are Manilenyo, the other two from Iloilo and one is our mayor. He is the first Dabawenyo and the first Mindanaoan to run for President.

In 1961, Emmanuel Pelaez of Misamis Oriental won as vice President but he never ran for President.

In 1998, Aquilino Pimentel, Jr. also of Misamis Oriental ran but lost as vice President.

All of the presidentiables have each a share of criticisms but appear to have done and will continue to do many good things for the country as we hear them in their campaign.

The Church has created guidelines so we will know who is the best candidate.

The Church also recognizes that we have free will and that we have the freedom to choose.

The right to vote is a rare and precious gift from God. Let us pray for enlightenment so we can use this gift as God intends.

On May 9, go out and vote.
