Epiphany is God’s manifestation to us

Epiphany is God’s manifestation to the gentiles. He is not exclusive only to the Jews. He wants to have a bigger family – that means HE included us. The wise men from the east are examples for us that if we listen to God’s voice, we will be able to find our way no matter how difficult life may be. The Magi as the wise men are called, journeyed through the vast and harsh Arabian Desert froth with dangers, and were rewarded to grace the Incarnation.

Many religions, if not all, are all about the ascent of man to God. However, we have a God who descends to our wretched and bewildering history, and decided to start anew. Let us look at the example of the Blessed Mother whose ‘yes’ to God’s plan benefitted future generations. Blessed are those who allow God to transform and guide their life according to God’s plan.
