San Lorenzo and HC Mintal join seminar enhancement

Twenty four teachers from the San Lorenzo College of Davao led by Principal Sr. Maria Julieta Relativo, TDM, together with sixty teachers from the Holy Cross of Mintal, led by School Director Sr. Stephanie Gimena, PM, joined the seminar on curriculum mapping and test construction held at the HCMI campus, last May 24 and 25, 2017.

Sponsored by the Phoenix-Sibs Publishing House, Resource Speaker Carlo B. Bejarasco of St. Mary’s Academy in Dalaguete, Cebu, facilitated the said seminar that enlightened the teachers on the salient points of Policy Guidelines on Classroom Assessment for the K-12 Basic Education Program, also known as the DepEd Order No. 8 of 2015.

Bejarasco reminded the teachers of both Catholic schools to be loyal in the Catholic teachings regardless of what subject discipline they teach; that assessment is essential in teaching to keep tract of the lessons, promote self-reflection, and update profiling of performance for effective pedagogy.
