GKK Sta. Cruz’s Month-Long Holy Rosary Campaign Culmination

The GKK Sta. Cruz of NHA Buhangin marked the successful conclusion of its month-long Holy Rosary at 6:30 PM on October 30, 2025, uniting members from Zones 1 to 7 in a heartfelt celebration aimed at reengaging GKK members. The campaign, which ran Monday to Friday evenings at designated members’ households, culminated in a vibrant gathering that blended prayer, reflection, and community bonding.

The culmination service opened with the congregation reciting the Luminous Mysteries of the Holy Rosary, with each assigned leader offering her prayer for everyone, setting a reverent tone for the proceedings. PSL Juditho Migraso led a specially crafted rite, centered on Mary, Mother of Perpetual Help, that tied the month’s nightly per household rosary to GKK Sta. Cruz’s mission of fostering belonging. A key highlight came from Atty. Brown, who delivered an insightful input on the spiritual significance of the Holy Rosary and its 15 promises, reminded attendees of the devotion’s power to strengthen faith and community ties.

Zone 7’s Mrs. Leticia Mabasa then shared a personal, moving testimony on behalf of her household, recounting how the rosary visits and the presence of the Virgin Mary’s image had rekindled their connection to the GKK after three (3) years of inactivity. “We went from feeling disconnected to looking forward to more rosary visits soon—our home felt full again,” she said, drawing warm applause from the assembly.

The rite reached its peak as attendees offered red and white roses (symbolizing love and purity) while singing Mary’s Song (Ave Maria, Gentle woman), a collective act of gratitude for the month’s blessings. Following the service, the group gathered for group photos to memorialize the occasion, then enjoyed a fellowship dinner where members from all zones mingled, shared stories, and planned future GKK activities.

GKK Sta. Cruz leaders (GSLs) expressed profound gratitude for the campaign’s success, noting that dozens of members had committed to rejoining regular GKK and parish events soon. “This month wasn’t just about praying the rosary—it was about bringing our community back together,” as PSL Migraso said. “Mary’s guidance helped us bridge gaps and remind everyone they have a home here.”

It is to be noted that this culmination activity is also celebrated by the other thirty-one (31) GKKs of the Our Mother of Perpetual Help Parish. Then the final culmination to wrap up the activities will be held on October 31, 2025, at the OMPH parish, which is to be celebrated with a holy mass. (Marieta V. Comighud | OMPH SoCCom)
