Consecrate the Life in the Mind of the Church

We celebrated the Year of Consecrated Life 2015 with the aim of emphasizing the importance of religious vocation.

After the meeting of 120 religious superiors in Rome, it was known that in five years about 13,123 left religious life.

Pope Francis’ words and thoughts shared to the assembly are worth reflecting. He said, all institutes of religious should go back to its identity which is the following of the Lord in a special way… men and women who can awaken the world.

God asks us to fly the nest and to be sent to the ends of the world.

In Davao we opened the year of consecrated life last Nov. 15 and we will close this coming Feb. 2,2016.

One of the messages to all religious is the gratitude of the Holy Father who said: “Thank you for what you do and for your spirit of faith and your service. Thank yo for your witness and also for humiliation through which you have had experienced.”
