He Heals the Sick

(An excerpt of the homily of the Most Reverend Romulo G. Valles D.D. during the 22nd Parochial Fiesta of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, Bangkal, Davao City February 11, 2025.)

That would tell us, that yes, it is the place of Mary, birhen sa Lourdes, our Lady of Lourdes, but yet Our Lady of Lourdes atong fiesta karon would bring us to Jesus. Ang pinaka drama daw nga moment, panahon sa misa ug Eucharistic procession, pagdisplay ni Jesus in the Holy Eucharist.

Sa Bibliya makita nimo sa kada encounter sa Ginoo sa mga tawo nga may sakit, naay healing. God reacts to sickness because, ang sickness, kontra, babag sa dating sa Ginoo. Busa kung naa ang Ginoo, ang sakit muatras. Mao na balik ta sa Lourdes, atong makita ang presence sa Ginoo tungod sa mga miracles of healing, sa Lourdes. The Lord is there. Blessed Mother, brings us closer to the Lord because of the phenomena sa healing, miraculous healing sa Lourdes. That’s why ang Pope mideclare nga piyesta sa Lourdes nga World Day of the Sick.

Ayaw kataranta sa sakit, because we have faith.
