COUPLES FOR CHRIST (CFC) Central B Christian Life Program Unfolds
On July 18, 2025, Couples for Christ Central B, with their Cabantian and Indangan Units, filled the parish seminar hall of St. Mary of the Perpetual Rosary Parish with God’s grace as they launched their Christian Life Program. Starting with Talk No. 1, God’s Love, delivered by Brod. Jepoy Igagamao and his wife, Joan Igagamao, they shared a message mainly anchored on the Holy Gospel of John 3:16: that God’s love creates, God’s love saves, and God’s love sustains. The participants are reminded of the countless blessings/things they must be grateful to God for as a couple.
Christian Life Program (CLP) is a series of weekly sessions lasting for 8 weeks that has an integrated course planned to lead the participants into a renewed understanding of God’s call to them as Christian couples or individuals. This program led married couples to a renewed commitment to Christian family life and to build up a community of committed Christian families. CLP is composed of eight talks divided into two modules: The Basic Truth about Christianity and The Authentic and Spirit-Filled Christian Life.
In this CLP, twenty-four (24) couples took heed to God’s call by joining the program. The participants who bravely said Yes to God’s call are from various walks of life i.e. St. Mary of the Perpetual Rosary Parish parishioners, children of CFC, neighbours, and friends. They were eager to hear and learn from this formation. During the event, a sumptuous dinner and photo booth were offered to the participants as part of giving them a warm welcome. The program ends with a short sharing from the participants grouped into small groups, separating the husband and wife. The said mechanics of groupings are purposely done to give the participants an opportunity to share their hearts out, keeping in mind the confidentiality of the sharing. Group discussion leaders are assigned as facilitators during the sharing.
To assist in the event, Youth for Christ-Rock (Reaching Out Christ to Kids, one of the Family Ministries of the community) facilitators accommodated and helped kids tagged along by their parents by giving them activities through games and fun formation.
As the program took place, a team of prayer warriors during the entire CLP were unceasingly and fervently praying for God’s protection and guidance for the success of the CLP— for all the participants and the entire CLP team. Aside from the ongoing CLP at St. Mary of the Perpetual Rosary Parish, other CLPs are also taking place. Our Lady of Miraculous Medal Indangan (Indangan Unit under Norvin and Davina Peteros/ Alvin & Dinah Gravador) and at Sagrada Familia Chapel Mandug (Mandug Unit under Arthur & Joy Chatto) respectively. The overwhelming number of participants is the product of the strong support by Rev. Fr. Orlando “Orly” Angelia, parish priest of St. Mary of the Perpetual Rosary Parish.
CFC Central B is headed by their Chapter Head, Eduardo M. Maglasang Jr. and Dahlia G. Maglasang, with Dante and Prenny Alinsub as the Cluster Head. The said program is a collaborative effort of two units: Cabantian Unit headed by George Isidor and Juvy Isidor, and Julliville Unit under Fritz and Juliet Ando. It is also under the teamship of Nonoy and Dadang Liray as Team Couple.
