Mary as mother

No mother would want her children to be fighting against each other. She always wishes her children to be in good terms with one another, helping each other, and with sincere concern for each other. How much more for our heavenly Mother Mary in this time of war and conflict, she who is the Queen of Peace?

Most children ask for something they need through their mother. Any child usually feels at home to approach his or her mother for a grant of a wish or need. A mother listens more and is prone to do all she could in order to provide for her child’s need. How much more for our heavenly Mother Mary who once asked for Jesus to turn the water into wine in order not to embarrass those who invited them for a wedding at Cana?

In the midst of sickness, problems and difficulties, any loving mother cannot close her eyes for her child. She always tries to spend time to console and find solution to ease her child’s burden. She exerts all she can in order to mitigate any challenging situation her child faces. How much more for our heavenly Mother who stood by Jesus at the foot of the Cross.
