OLAP Lectors and Commentators Hold Meaningful Recollection

In a moment of prayer, reflection, and renewal, the Lectors and Commentators Ministry of OLAP gathered for their recollection last May 16, 2026, facilitated by Rev. Fr. Rechardson L. Ebcas, SSS.

Centered on the Christian call to become instruments of God’s love, Fr. Rechardson emphasized commitment as the heart of Christian faith and ministry. He reminded the participants that commitment begins with a genuine encounter with Jesus and with others, leading to a relationship grounded in responsibility, faithfulness, and service.

The recollection also highlighted the importance of renewing one’s faith daily, inspiring hope and a sense of ongoing spiritual growth to overcome spiritual apathy through rekindling passion for service, returning to prayer, and trusting completely in God’s grace.

Fr. Rechardson opened his reflection with a thought-provoking question to the ministry members: “Are you still joyful? Happy in the ministry?” This reminder that ministry is a personal response to God’s call aims to foster a sense of purpose and connection in the audience.

As the recollection concluded, participants were encouraged to continue serving with renewed hearts, deeper commitment, and joyful spirits, fostering enthusiasm and a joyful approach to their ongoing ministry, recognizing that their lives themselves are responses to the ministry entrusted to them.
