OLMMP Liturgical Ministers Renew Their Commitment on Corpus Christi Sunday

In celebration of the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ (Corpus Christi), the liturgical ministers of Our Lady of the Most Miraculous Medal Parish (OLMMP) renewed their commitment and were formally sent forth during the 8:30 a.m. Mass on June 7, 2026.

The sending forth rite was presided over by the Parish Priest, Msgr. Maximo Sarno, who expressed his gratitude and encouragement to the ministers for their dedicated service to the Church.

Those commissioned included the Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (EMHC), Gift Gatherers, Lectors and Commentators, Altar Servers, and members of the Music Ministry, namely the Kahayag Choir and Miraculous Voice. The commissioning marked the culmination of the Renewal Recollection conducted for each ministry, providing an opportunity for spiritual renewal, reflection, and recommitment to their sacred roles in the liturgy.

Earlier, on May 17, 2026, the Parish Technical Team was also formally sent forth during the celebration of the 59th World Communications Sunday.

As the Church celebrated the Real Presence of Christ in the Holy Eucharist on Corpus Christi Sunday, all commissioned ministers were reminded of their mission to serve faithfully and become living witnesses of Christ’s love in the parish community of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal-Indangan and Acacia.

Through their various ministries, they continue to help foster active participation and deeper faith among the People of God. (Marilou Luzon | OLMMP SOCCOM)
