Humility

A humble kid thinks of others as important as herself or himself. He or she is thoughtful of their needs and willing to serve.

Maya’s birthday is coming up. Her parents prepare to give her a big party with her friends in their school. She instead told them that she wants to celebrate it with the poor kids in the neighborhood.

A humble kid learns from her/his mistakes.

Mickey cried. He burned his fingers. He thought, “I should have listened to Mama when she told me not to play with the lighted candle. From now on, I will obey Mama.”

A humble kid is grateful instead of boastful.
