MIC Sisters hold annual retreat, celebrate 2 Sisters’ 50th year

DAVAO CITY – The Missionary Sisters of the Immaculate Conception (MIC) from the Davao region [Davao and Mati] along with those from Manila, Baguio and Bukidnon, had their 8-day annual retreat April 19-26, 2017 at the MIC Retreat House at F. Torres St., Davao City. The last two days witnessed sisters pronouncing their vows of commitment to the consecrated life. On April 25, two MIC scholastics renewed their religious commitment, namely: Sr. Gerarlyn Saldua, MIC and Sr. Zeny Vee Pacheco, MIC. The following day, Wednesday the 26th, four MICs celebrated their 50 years or Golden Jubilee of Religious Life at the MIC Retreat House Chapel, namely: Sr. Librada Bantilan, MIC, Sr. Emerenciana Madria, MIC, Sr. Ditma Luz Trocio, MIC, and Sr. Luz Hufancia, MIC. Representing the MIC leadership was Provincial Superior Sr. Regina Villarte, MIC, while the Retreat Facilitator Fr. Andrew Alarcon from the diocese of  Legazpi, Albay, presided over the Jubilee Thanksgiving Eucharistic Celebration. (Sr. Florita Galido, MIC)
