FAITH: Professed, Celebrated, Lived and Prayed

Five chosen youth leaders from each of the 58 GKK’s of San Pablo Parish converged last May 17-18, 2013 for the 10th Summer youth Camp with the Theme: FAITH: Professed, Celebrated, Lived and Prayed at St. Francis Xavier College Seminary.

The day started with a Holy Eucharist presided by our Parish Priest the Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Davao Bishop George B. Rimando, D.D. and followed by the amazing race wherein every pit stop awaits consecutive rewards that will complete the Year of Faith Logo while our Youth Director Rev. Fr. Leomel Puerto, DCD gave the meaning of each part of the Logo and the importance of the celebration in our Catholic life. It was followed by an inspiring video presentation about expressing Faith. On the next day there was a Quiz Bee followed by an inspirational talk/workshop by our Parochial Vicar Rev. Fr. Zenon Ampong, DCD. On the day of Pentecost, the activity ended with a synthesis of the lessons, experiences and realizations of the participants and culminated with a Holy Mass. This year’s camp is just a prelude of more activities on the celebration of the Year of Faith.
