REMASE @ 50: We REcall, We MArvel, We SErve
“It’s not about us, not about REMASE, building and etc. but it’s all about Christ.” Archbishop Romulo Valles, D.D. said during the mass.
The launching of the 50th year of REMASE, a mass was held at San Pedro Cathedral on July 11, 2013 which started at 9 o’clock in the morning. The mass was attended by students, seminarians, priests and different sectors.
A motorcade was done after the holy mass from San Pedro Cathedral to St. Francis Xavier Regional Seminary of Mindanao to further enjoy and feel the essence of the celebration together with Archbishop Valles, priests, seminarians and other guests. Upon arriving at the venue, the program continued headed by the Archbishop.
The program has its own goal upon reaching their 50th anniversary by next year; the renovation and beautification of the seminary’s gym. It was blessed by the Archbishop and followed by a ground breaking. Meanwhile, the Bishop of Kidapawan, Romulo dela Cruz, a proud alumnus of St. Francis Xavier Regional Seminary of Mindanao donated fifty thousand pesos for the seminary.
The celebration ended with a simple lunch to thank the Lord for all the blessings they have received for the past years.
