Century-old Churches Destroyed

I was lying down today and felt dizzy. The bed was moving. I said this is an earthquake.
It surprised me to know that center was in Bohol. I saw the damages also in Cebu. It saddened me see huge century-old churches like those in Baclayon, Dauis, Loon, Loay and Loboc fell and crushed to the ground with cracked roads and 20 casualties.
God reminds us again of His power as another calamity after the other hit religious tourisms of Bohol. Bohol is one of the religious places in the Philippines where most of our priests come from. Abp. Valles is from Maribojoc, Bohol. For sure, he allowed this for us not forget Him.
But there was a Church there where the image of Mama Mary remained intact. Mama Mary still intercedes.

Mama Mary in Calamities
I really questioned why God allowed His temples to be destroyed. Yet, another insight struck me. It happened in the morning – a time where each is reminded to start the day with a Dawn Rosary or the Angelus. What if it happened on a Sunday or when a Mass is going on? Or in the evening where most of the people are asleep?
The best thing that we can do now is to pray the Rosary and include their souls. We will pray through the intercession of Mama Mary. According to the book of the famous Exorcist from the Archdiocese of Manila Fr. Jocis Syquia, that Satan trembles as we ask for the help from Mother Mary.
She is elevated among the other Saints in Heaven. She accepts to be the Mother of God beyond her teenage life. This was announced to her by Archangel Gabriel. The Angelus is a way to remember the angelic response of Mama Mary. Mother Mary’s response to God saying, “Behold the handmaid of the Lord, be it done unto me according to Your Word.”
As stated by Fr. Ampong from his homily, “ …53 repetitions of Hail Mary is the like praying 150 Psalters from the book of Psalms.” Prayer protects.
