OLLP joins AdDU fora

The Formation Ministry of the Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in Bangkal participated in the fora launched by the Ateneo de Davao University.  Parish formators were sent to two different fora.  Nestor Fruto, Lito Puliran and Vonz Hijada joined the public consultation on the Comprehensive Agreement on the Bangsamoro (CAB) and the Bangsamo Basic Law (BBL) which was held at the Finster Hall of said university.

On the other hand, the Global Impact Philippines Foundation, in coordination with AdDU, launched a forum on the Red Light is On:  Stop Human Trafficking which was held at the Ritz Hotel at the Garden Oases.  This said forum was attended by OLLP formators Ana Norbe, Vinny Bajo and Alice Acebedo.

OLLP’s participation to the AdDU fora was blessed by Parish Priest Fr. Dexter Veloso in response to the invitations sent by AdDU President Fr. Joel Tabora, SJ, for the CAB and BBL forum, and by Ms. Mildred Megarbio Estanda, Director of Ateneo Migration Center (AMC) and Atty. Romeo Cabarde, Jr., Director of Ateneo Public Interest and Legal Advocacy (APILA), for the Stop Human Trafficking forum.  Both fora of the different venues were held last June 26, 2014.(Vonz M.
