Mindanao lay leaders set minda-wide consultation

Distinguished lay leaders from various dioceses in Mindanao gathered at the Charles Borromeo Retreat House, Matina Aplaya, Davao City, since Friday, July 4, 2014, up to the press time for the Mindanao-wide consultation and conference.

A number of delegates coming from Polomolok, Kidapawan, Dipolog, Surigao and Davao, including the Formation Lay Coordinator of the Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in Bangkal, are all members of the continuing committee of the Kahiusahan sa mga Layko sa Mindanao (KALAMI) headed by its lay coordinator Edgar Diares.

The three-day KALAMI consultation and conference was enlightened with inputs and keynotes by Layko Philippines Coordinator Roger Macatol and MASIPAG Mindanao and Panalipdan Coordinator Francis Morales with the review of the orientation and direction setting of the organization.  Macatol and Morales are both Catholic Theologians and product of the REMASE.
