Msgr. Lucas sends forth VDP EMHC Ministers

In order to help the Church distribute Holy Communion to the faithful 24 Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion of the Virgen Dolorosa Parish (VDP) in Babak, IGaCoS were sent forth by Msgr. Nelson Lucas the parish priest last June 22 during the Corpus Christi SundayMass after the certificate of appointment was signed by Archbishop G. Valles, D.D.

The appointment which is valid for one (1) year granted them the authority to distribute Holy Communion within the Parish.  This privilege and right is granted to them in order to address the pastoral needs of the faithful who are in the state of grace and disposition to receive the Lord in order for them not to be deprived of this sacramental help and consolation.
