What is EVANGELIZATION? To preach the gospel (good news)…
- Lay people also fulfill their prophetic mission by Evangelization, “that is, the proclamation of Christ by word and the testimony of life.” For lay people, “this evangelization… acquires a specific property and peculiar efficacy because it is accomplished in ordinary circumstances of the world. (CCC: 905)
- “The sacred liturgy does not exhaust the entire activity of the Church.” It must be preceded by Evangelization, faith and conversion. It can then produce its fruits in the lives of the faithful: new life in the Spirit, involvement in the mission of the Church and service to her unity. (CCC: 1072)
- “The Church looks to Mary as a model and guide in leading people to Jesus Christ… the star that leads the Magi to Jesus. It is in this sense that we call Mary “Star of Evangelization”(cf. Evangeli Nuntiandi 82, Redemptoris Missio 92, “Tell the World” pp 21 of CBCP commission on Mission)

It is good that there is a posting of Herald like this because it is great to help the readers to contemplate and have references for their research and study especially the student of Ignatian Institute of Religious Education Foundation (IIREF). But I suggest to the writer to add more like a journal about like Evangelization of the Church in Davao City.
