Two nuns accept ‘calling of Christ’

THE Teresian Daughters of Mary (TDM) community happily received its two new full-fledged members.

Sr. Ma. Vanessa Verano and Sr. Ma. Rosario Infiesto made their perpetual profession of vows of chastity, poverty and obedience during the ceremony held at TDM’s new chapel on May 30.

The rite was presided over by Bishop Wilfredo Manlapaz and witnessed by priests and nuns from different congregations.

Bishop Manlapaz expressed his thankfulness to the young nuns as they have “generously responded and accepted the calling of Christ.”

During the thanksgiving message, the newly professed nuns thanked their families for the genuine support in their religious life as nuns and who became part of their formation for eight years, accepting them in the congregation. (Janin Langoy)
