Incredible, not credible, Elections?

Bona-fide computer experts and election lawyers say that if the safety and efficacy mechanisms of the PCOS machines are not restored and a new transmitting machine is put in place the 2016 elections would be open to massive cheating like what happened in 2010 and 2013. The results would not be credible but incredible (impossible to believe).

The safety and efficacy features are 1) the receipt showing you have voted, 2) your vote was counted, ‎3) signature of the authorized election inspector, 4) your vote was transmitted. These items are built-in and parts of the PCOS machines. They are required by law for validity. But Comelec in violation of law removed them for the 2010 and 2013 elections. Another standy machine for transmitting votes is not necessary. PCOS has already it’s transmittal mechanism. It’s use would be suspicious and violative of law.

Concerned citizens, civil society and Church-based groups planning to help make the 2016 electoral process clean, honest, and credible would do well to investigate the existence of those important mechanisms of the PCOS machines and the alternative transmission equipment. Otherwise they could be held as complicit in an illegal and immoral act of Comelec. Also, the lawyers of these groups should find out and inform the people why the Supreme Court has not acted on several petitions filed against Comelec regarding its violations of the Automated Election Law.
