Go out and Vote on May 14

The smallest political body of our country is the barangay in the same way that the smallest religious unit of the church is the family with Fr. Peyton’s reminder that the family that prays together stays together. The more than 5,000 barangays all over the nation is the foundation of our national government. Remove the towns, cities and provinces and the government can still function but remove the barangays and the government’s footings will be shaky. The government’s foundation will be solid only if it rests on strong materials. The barangay officials we will elect this May 14 and we who will elect them represents the form and solid foundation. It is necessary that first: we should vote and second, that we vote for God-fearing and honest candidates. Only then can we say that our barangay, our City and Nation is in good hands.
