Sara, Baste, Hugpong Alliance members file COC

Mayor Sara Duterte files her Certificate of Candidacy (COC) for re-election as City Mayor under the Hugpong ng Pagbabago (HNP) partylist around 4:00 p.m. October 15 after the candidates of the HNP from all three districts filed their COC.

“I have filed today because this is really the schedule HNP has agreed. We no longer waited for the deadline so give enough time to correct in case problems occur,” said Duterte.

Sara also denied the speculations of the possible candidacy of Atty. Manases Carpio.

Sara also rejected the speculations of substitution which was what happened to President Rodrigo Duterte’s candidacy on the 2016 presidential elections.

Sebastian ‘Baste’ Duterte has also filed his COC as the running mate of his sister, Sara Duterte. Despite having unfixed decision at first, Baste said that his decision was not half-hearted and it is in response to the call of the public especially in the social media.

Baste, however, confirms that he is not yet certain as to what to expect from him as he has never experienced serving a public office but honesty and service, the Duterte brand, is sure to be on hand.
