ALS cares learners’ transitional period to College

ALS Alternative Learning System Tibungco cares learners general assemblyAlternative Learning System Tibungco District implementers conducted a general assembly for all A&E learners last Sunday, March 31 at F. Bustamante Central Elementary School, Tibungco, Davao City.

The gathering aims to announce the plan of the district with the proposal of all Instructional Managers to conduct a bridging class especially for those who had already taken the national examination.

As per announcement, takers of this school year if they will pass will no longer be on Senior High School level but instead they will proceed to College. That’s why implementers initiated to prepare them.

Sir Ernest John Logiver, LPT, one of the Instructional Managers assigned at Panacan Community Learning Center is very excited with the plan. “I am very happy to prepare my learners to college,” Logiver said in an interview.

Learners agreed with the proposal since this will benefit them. They expressed their excitement by asking questions during the open forum.

Everyone agreed to conduct the bridging classes on Saturdays and Sundays within one month.

Nimfa Villacampa, one of the learners in Panacan Community Learning Center at Crossing Malagamot, Panacan, Davao City agreed with it. “I am very happy for this and very excited,” Villacampa said.

Bridging class will start this month of April and the venue will be at Panacan Community Learning Center at Crossing Malagamot, Panacan. The schedule will be divided by 3 strands: the English Communication, Writing a composition and Mathematics. Selected Instructional Managers will be the one to handle the bridging class.
