Oplan Tabang Covid-19 continues support for affected families

The Archdiocese of Davao continues to support families who are affected by the covid-19 pandemic.

Through the Oplan Tabang Covid-19, the Archdiocese of Davao through the Archdiocesan Social Action Center has helped 14,797 indigents through food packs distribution.

There are 28 parishes who participated and as of March 25, there were already 1,610 food packs distributed.

The main center for receiving of donations and repacking of goods is at San Pablo Parish in Juna Subdivision, Matina, Davao City. Donors are encouraged to support this said initiative of the Archdiocese of Davao.

Those who are identified as indigents will receive the items in coordination with the city government to avoid duplication.

The program has also encouraged no mass gathering wherein the beneficiaries may claim their goods through their respective parishes or will be delivered by their GKK servant leaders. (JFF/DCHerald)
