Talomo National High School Early Registration

Talomo National High School Early Registration Begins

In response to the recent announcement made by the Department of Education with respect to the Early Registration for the SY 2021-2022, Talomo National High School administration and faculty urgently administered a concrete plan to carry through the activity amidst the pandemic. Hence, the school guarantees that all precautionary measures against COVID-19 transmission are strictly observed during the conduct of this activity.

The announced schedule for the early registration commenced last March 26, 2021 and will end on April 30, 2021. This Early Registration shall cater the Grades 1, 7, and 11 learners only in all public elementary and secondary schools. Meanwhile, the learners from Grades 2-6, 8-10 and 12 are considered pre-registered already and will not need to participate in the Early Registration.

The month-long activity is initiated to ensure that incoming learners are registered for the next School Year and help the Department better prepare for possible issues and concerns that may arise, as stipulated in DepEd Order No. 3, s. 2018, or the Basic Education Enrollment policy.

Two ways of registering the learners were initiated by Talomo National High School. One way is an online registration and another way is a drop box registration.

For online registration, a link is posted in the official page of Talomo National High School in which the curriculum head from each level shall confirm the registration of learners. Then, the parent will receive a confirmation text message once the early registration is confirmed.

On the other hand, for the Drop Box Registration, forms will be given at the guard house where the box will also be placed. A copy of PSA Birth Certificate (original or photocopy) should come along upon dropping the registration form in the drop box. Also, in lieu of the PSA, the following are the alternatives: NSO Birth Certificate, Local Registry Live Birth Certificate, Barangay Certification, Late Registration Form.

To better guide the parents/guardians, an infomercial showcasing the procedure for the Early Registration was likewise prepared for them to view. This will, in a way, motivate both the parents and learners to take part in this month-long Early Registration affair. (Anna Mae S. Aquino)
