St. Jude Youth brings back KaSaDra

After two years of silence and no physical contact, the Kanta Sayaw Drama (KaSaDra) was brought back to life last October 19, 2022 by the St. Jude Shrine Parish Youth Apostolate (PYA) and Knights of the Altar Servers as the opening salvo of their 54th Parochial Fiesta Celebration.

The KaSaDra entitled “Keychain” is a musical play about a young girl who aspires to be a Certified Public Accountant and gets to know St. Jude in her journey towards fulfilling her dreams.

Highlighting dramatic scenes with hints of comedy, the plot is loosely based on various accounts of devotees to the Patron of Hopeless Cases. It also showcases the biography of the Saint.

The production has long been a tradition since 1987 by the PYA as a means of showcasing the marvels and miracles performed by St. Jude and to make the saint known not only to devotees but to young people in the parish. (Juliana Luz Legarte)
