The Word

The Word Leads To The Way, The Truth, And The Life” (Is. 61:1-4/Jn. 14:6). This is the theme for this year’s National Bible Month.

Four former Presidents of the Philippines, through their respective proclamations saw the need for the Word of God in building the nation. Pope Francis also pronounced that the Third Sunday of Ordinary Time in the Liturgy would be Sunday of the Word of God. All of these are points enough for us to see much hope in our love for the Word of God in making us as God’s people.

The marathon reading of the Bible with Catholics and other faiths, the visits to government offices by priests and pastors of other denomination, our archdiocesan, parish and GKK activities, like bible quiz, symposium, poster making, and bible verses post in social media, are some of our attempts in making the Word known, lived, and shared.

May the Word truly lead us to the way, the truth and the life throughout the year!
