Tagum Bishop Ordained 8 New Deacons

A grand celebration of blessings to the Diocese of Tagum – the Bishop of Tagum, Most Rev. Medil S. Aseo, D.D. ordained eight (8 seminarians to the order of the Diaconate last August 21, 2023 at the Christ the King Cathedral, Tagum City, Davao del Norte.

Among those being ordained during the Eucharistic Celebration were Rev. Mark Lloyd Dano Abedejos of Our Lady of Assumption Quasi Parish, Merville Subdivision, Tagum City, Davao del Norte, Rev. Janiel Jayme Arbotante of Birhen sa Kasilak Parish, Madaum, Tagum City, Davao del Norte, Rev. Gerson Estoque Gepolongca of San Jose Parish, Montevista, Davao de Oro, Rev. Mark Jay Fiel Paña of San Ignacio de Loyola Parish, Monkayo, Davao de Oro, Rev. Joben Lobrigas Planteras of San Isidro Labrador Parish, Sawata, Davao del Norte. Rev. Arvin Dela Cruz Uriat of Immaculate Conception Quasi Parish, Elizalde, Maco, Davao del Norte, and Rev. Caryl Llano Yntong of Birhen sa Kasilak Parish, Madaum, Tagum City, Davao del Norte.

This signifies the fortification of their strong faith to God, their love for the Church, and their heeding the call of God upon them to become His stewards and shepherds of peace and holiness by preaching the Word of God and tending to His lost sheep. The Ordination to the Order of the Diaconate marks their eternal promise of serving God and His people, proving their dedication to preach the Gospel and become one with the entire ecclesiastic community of the Diocese of Tagum.
