Tides of Change: A Coastal Cleanup Initiative

The Saint Michael Parish Youth Apostolate of Saint Michael Parish of Padada conducted a coastal cleanup at Barangay San Isidro, Padada, Davao del Sur.

Initiating coastal cleanup efforts not only helps to create a cleaner environment but also protects marine life and builds a sense of community. By removing trash and debris from our beaches and waterways, we can prevent harm to sea creatures who may mistake it for food or become entangled in it. Additionally, coastal cleanup efforts bring people together for a common cause, fostering a sense of teamwork and camaraderie. It’s a great way to meet new people, make a positive impact on the environment, and have fun while doing it!

It is up to each and every one of us to take action and make a difference. Whether you live near the coast or not, there are ways to get involved and participate in coastal cleanup efforts. Together, we can make a positive impact on our planet and create a better future for generations to come. (Saint Michael Parish Youth Apostolate | Digos)
