YES to CHA-CHA!

This is not a political statement! But it might help politics. “Cha-Cha” here is definitely not “Charter Change.” It is CHARACTER CHANGE. In particular, it is our Christian character. On the other hand, a constitutional change or not changing it brings only peace, progress and prosperity when motives and means are selfless and not selfish.

“Cha-Cha” is not also a piece of music by which dancing may be guided. But in life, we really need to dance to the tune of the Divine Mercy.

We are invited to follow in the footsteps of the risen Lord, Jesus Christ. In him, we find God who initiates an encounter and help in the midst of the reality of sin and suffering. He makes perfect our imperfections and orders our disordered nature. Timely to say, the phenomena of climate change calls for character change. This needs not just a statement but a testament.

May the feast of the Divine Mercy fortify our faith and foster “Cha-Cha” (Charitable Character) in us, through the spirit of Jesus, our risen Lord who is rich in MERCY!
