Manang Margie

The St. Joseph the Worker Parish and St. Mary’s Academy – Sta. Cruz, Digos, Davao del Sur rejoices with Sr Ma. Margie C. Aguilar RVM on her the 50th anniversary (Golden Jubilee) on August 15, 2024. The Holy Eucharist, which was presided by Most Rev. Socrates Villegas (Lingayen – Dagupan) took place at the Our Lady of the Assumption Chapel in Cubao, Quezon City.

Sr. Margie was a member of the teaching staff of SMA, then Holy Cross Academy of Sta. Cruz before she decided on joining the RVM Congregation. Her family, students and friends came all the way from Visayas, Mindanao and Cambodia to witness this momentous event in the vocation journey of “Manang Margie” as they fondly call her. Mr. & Mrs. Jun Panuda were among her first students at HCA and they also represent their high school batch to this celebration.
