CPRM Celebrates 46th Annual Fiesta
The Confraternity of the Perpetual Rosary Movement (CPRM) celebrates its 46th Annual Fiesta of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary on October 26, 2024 with a theme: “Birhen Maria, Modelo sa usa ka Mapaubsanon ug Malipayong Piniyalan nga sa Dios Gikahimut-an”.
The fiesta celebration started with a recitation of the Holy Rosary and Procession at 7:00 o’clock in the morning and followed by input of Bro. Marco Jay Suazo, CPRM Youth Ministry Head and Formator of Our Lady of Fatima Parish, Davao City wherein he shared his insights on the different titles of Mary in which Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary is one of them..
The Eucharistic Celebration was held at the Archdiocesan Shrine of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary, Buhangin, Davao City at 9:00 o’clock in the morning and was presided by the Parish Priest of St. Mary of the Perpetual Rosary Parish, Rev. Fr. Dionisio C. Tabiliran. In his homily Fr. Diony shared the acronym of MARY.
M – Mother of God. She is not only the Morher of God but a Mother of All. Whoever seeks for help, she listens and always come for her aid.
A – Acceptance. She is open to the plan of God and accepts the challenges to be the Mother of God.
R – Rejoice. Blessedness, a reason for her to rejoice, called to be happy and be holy.
Y – Yearning. Mary’s yearning and longing is to be of service to God her savior and master. It shows her willingness to become the lowly servant and handmaid of God.
Fr. Diony was also glad to see many CPRM from the different clusters of the Archdiocese of Davao, Diocese of Digos and Diocese of Tagum who joined the annual fiesta celebration.
