Our Three-Fold Mission

How can we reconcile our roles as priests, prophets, and kings in the modern world?

Baptism imparts a thoughtful identity to believers, integrating them into the priestly, prophetic, and kingly mission of Christ. As priests, the baptized are called to offer their lives as spiritual sacrifices, fostering holiness through prayer, service, and acts of charity. In the prophetic role, they bear witness to divine truth, advocate for justice, challenging societal norms and guiding others toward God’s revelation. Lastly, as kings, they exercise servant leadership in governing their lives and influencing others positively, promoting peace and integrity within their spheres of influence, and in exercising responsible stewardship over creation.

This shared mission emphasizes that all baptized individuals partake in Christ’s transformative work, embodying a royal priesthood that actively participates in the life of the Church and the world.
