Return to Galilee: A Call to Serve

The Mindanao Leaders Weekend Retreat in Zamboanga was more than just a time for reflection—it was a challenge to live out our faith in service. As 5,700 members of Couples for Christ gathered, they were reminded that returning to Galilee is not just about looking back but about moving forward with purpose.

Too often, we settle into routines, losing the fire of our first encounter with Christ. The retreat urged participants to shake off complacency and step into active discipleship. It is not enough to believe; we must serve. Like Mary, who embraced her calling without hesitation, we are called to bring Christ to others—with humility, compassion, and a willingness to act.

True faith is seen in how we serve—within our families, communities, and beyond. As we return to our own Galilee, may we not just remember, but respond. The mission is clear: Rejoice, take courage, and serve.
