Talomo NHS community implements “Oplan Baklas”

Living the mantra “Dabawenyo DCiplinado” and the “Care for the Environment”, the Talomo National High School community conducts the “Oplan Baklas”.

After the excitement of the 2025 Mid-term election, Talomo NHS SSLG officers, senior scouts, teachers, and principal tirelessly removed the election related paraphernalia and cleaned the designated election post in Talomo area.

This voluntary community work has been practiced for many elections that passed.

“It is fulfilling on our part that aside from exercising our right to vote, we also take part in maintaining the cleanliness in our community,” Sir Angelo Jericho F. Amora mentioned.

In the statement of Clerk D. Sanchez, SSLG president, said “I can feel the essence of being a leader upon doing this activity.”

This initiative is recognized by the Barangay council headed by Hon. Rene Alexis P. Villarente, Barangay Captain, by executing the permit for the activity to realize. (Elmer Sarsaba | Talomo NHS)
