Sent-Forth with the Body of Christ

On June 22, 2025, during the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ or also known as the Corpus Christi Sunday, the Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (EMHC) at San Pedro Cathedral took their oath. The ceremony was led by the new Parish Administrator, Rev. Msgr. Paul A. Cuison, JCD, who also read the appointment order for the 67 Extraordinary Ministers.

The third paragraph of the Certificate of Appointment contained a significant message, stating: “that they will continue to carry out this ministry with humility, fidelity, and love not for personal glory, but for the greater glory of God and the good of his people.”

This serves as a reminder not only for the EMHC but also for the lay leaders and workers in the Parish.

The appointment order is effective for one year starting from June 22, 2025, it was signed by Most Rev. Romulo G. Valles, D.D., Archbishop of Davao. (Sr. Hildegard Cabahug, OSB and Rosalinda C. Jabonillo)
