DACS x CEAP Region XI Regional Assembly 2025

Catholic educators and school leaders from across Region XI gathered at St. Mary’s College of Tagum, Inc. for the Davao Association of Catholic Schools (DACS) and Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines (CEAP) Region XI Regional Assembly, a meaningful occasion that brought together hearts and minds in communion and mission.

The assembly opened with the celebration of the Holy Mass, presided over by Most Rev. Medil S. Aseo, D.D., Bishop of Tagum, who reminded the participants of the sacred calling entrusted to every Catholic educator, to form not only intellectual minds but hearts that reflect Christ.

Rooted in faith and fueled by service, the gathering became a moment of prayer, encounter, and renewed commitment to the Church’s mission of education. Conversations, prayers, and shared experiences reaffirmed the role of Catholic schools as communities of truth, compassion, and transformation.

“Catholic education is above all a question of communicating Christ, of helping to form Christ in the lives of others.” — Pope St. John Paul II

In an ever-changing world, Catholic educators stand as pillars of light, teaching minds, touching hearts, and transforming lives. As one body, the Region XI Catholic education community walked together in the spirit of synodality, reflecting the beauty of unity in diversity, and the power of shared mission.

May the seeds planted in this assembly bear fruit in our schools, and may our educators always find strength in Christ, the true Teacher. (DitasCom)
