FLA/PSKB sa Parokya ni Santa Maria, 20 Anyos Na!

The Family & Life Apostolate (FLA) & Pangulo Sa Kristohanong Banay (PSKB) of St. Mary of the Perpetual Rosary Parish, Buhangin, Davao City headed by our Coordinator Brod. Maurillo & Sis. Delia Frias joyfully celebrated our 20th Anniversary Celebration last 24 August 2025, Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. It was indeed a profound blessing that we were able to celebrate this occasion despite various ministerial tasks and challenges that we faced; but with God’s providence, we persevered and continued the said celebration.

We give all glory and praise to the almighty God for the unwavering graces, the inspiration of the Blessed Virgin Mary and St. Joseph for their guidance over the last two (2) decades. Christ’s love that sustains us this apostolate, allowing us to serve and witness to the sacredness of family and the beauty of human life. Indeed, as we look back o balik-lantaw with the programs, ministerial endeavors, we remain committed to inspiring other families and extending our helping hands to other vicariates and parishes.

We warmly and spiritedly welcomed Rev. Fr. Orlando Angelia, our parish priest and FLA Director of the Archdiocese of Davao and other parish staffs and guests who graced on said activity. During his inspirational message, Fr. Orly encouraged us to be more diligent in our mission by inspiring other families to nurture the love and care for the family, emphasizing that the interaction between family members must be relational rather than functional.

As the program continues, everybody cooperated and participated during parlor games including children facilitated by Sis. Lonnalyn Mirafuentes and Sis. Jessica Abundiente. The most eagerly anticipated part was the raffles of items shared by generous donors and contributing members. We completed said activity with a sense of hope and inspiration. To God be the glory!
