Mother Mary’s Holy Rosary: Source of Hope, Light of Faith

The GKK Sto. Rosario, Balinsuag celebrated their 4th patronal fiesta last October 7, 2025. With the theme “Sta. Maria, Rayna sa Santos nga Rosaryo: Tuburan sa Paglaum, Kahayag sa Pagtuo,” the celebration reminded everyone of the hope and faith that can be found in the maternal love of our Mother Mary, the Queen of the Most Holy Rosary.

Rev. Fr. Amado Arroyo, Parish Priest, presided over the Holy Mass. In his homily, he emphasized the value of having a relationship with our Mother. “Palaban gyud ta sa atong inahan, no?” he said, expressing that in all the circumstances we face, we must always turn to our Mother, for her maternal love will always protect and guide us. He also shared that the Holy Rosary has been a significant part of his journey to priesthood.

Furthermore, Fr. Arroyo commended the GSLs and members for their dedication and involvement in the GKK, despite the challenges of the road and the distance it takes to gather as a community.

After the Holy Mass, a fellowship lunch was shared by the GSLs and members together with Fr. Arroyo and visitors from various GKKs in Zone 2.

Afterwards, the PSB hosted fun parlor games that filled the atmosphere with laughter and excitement, entertaining both the children and the adults who joyfully watched them take part in the activities.

It was indeed a happy fiesta, a day of thanksgiving for another year celebrated by the community, with Mother Mary as their guide, the bearer of hope and the light of faith.

As we celebrate this Month of the Holy Rosary, may we all be reminded that being close to Jesus means being close to Mother Mary. In times of uncertainty, let us turn to the Rosary, our strong weapon of faith, for in every bead lies a hope, a hope carried by the grace of Mother Mary.

To God be the Glory.
