Archdiocesan SoCCom goes R&R and Spiritual Synergy

23 awesome SoCCom leaders from various vicariates, together with Rev. Fr. Ritsche J. Gamaya, Director of the Archdiocesan Commission on Social Communications, converge on a 2-day Archdiocesan SoCCom Spiritual Synergy at Our Lady of Victory, Camudmud, Samal on November 21 & 22, 2025, as part of Relaxation and Reflection with Planning of Activities for the coming year.

The first night of Gospel Reading and Sharing, which centered on “Kinsa akong inahan? Kinsa akong igsoon?” ug ang “Pagtuman sa sugo sa Ginoo” fill the air with emotions and inspiring stories of the members.

Early risers, group members pray the rosary with an incorporating concept of ‘penitential walk’ around the vicinity, and ending the litany at the chapel.

While breakfast is being prepared, members excitingly dip into the calm and tranquil beach. Games and zumba dance make it even more fun!

The breakfast and also the previous night’s dinner was sumptuous. Everybody’s busog! This includes the insights and motivation of our facilitator, Mrs. Tere Lelis.

Holy Mass is a highlight as well. The homily of Fr. Ritsche summarizes the event’s spiritual journey of 4S: Self-identity, Storytelling, Sent to Mission, and Sign of Communion.

Everyone’s stories are reflections of hope as we embark a new chapter in shepherding our respective ministry for the greater glory and service of God. (Sheenah Ayson | Photos by Arvin Posas)
