Last October 25, 2025, we celebrated the Culmination of the month of the Holy Rosary with hearts full of thanksgiving and of prayer and gratitude of our devotion to our Blessed Mary, together with the faithful devotees of San Lorenzo Ruiz Parish honoring her for the unending love and intercession.
Before the mass began we united to pray the Holy Rosary at exactly 1:00 P.M. and after that we offered flowers to our Blessed Mary together with the kids from different zones, the kids and youth who portrayed their selected saints with the catechists. The celebration began with the Holy Mass at 2:00 P.M. presided by our guest priest Fr. Arjay Bayron who reminded us that the Holy Rosary is one way step closer to God. At 3:00 P.M., together with the catechists, kids, lay ministers and servers proceeded to convent social Hall to begin the part 2 of our program which is the Divine Cosplay. The said program began with the doxology led by the SLRP Choir and after our Beloved Parish Priest Fr. Anthony E. Silvosa gave us an inspirational message for us to cultivate and to grow with faithfulness by praying the Holy Rosary and it’s importance.
The day of faith and fellowship continued by showcasing the talents from the category of kids and youth portraying the role of their selected saints. And by the generosity of every zones. everyone was overwhelmed because of the joy and laughter during of that said event. It was the day of unity of faith that we shared with our Mother Mary.
The program ended by announcing the winners: Kids category from zone 5 namely Eun Jeong Kim she portrayed St. Catherine of Alexandria and also from Youth Category from zone 7 namely Kate Yanie Alcorcon she portrayed St. Faustina of Kowalska. Meanwhile, the rest of the kids who portrayed their selected saints also had a consolation prizes. It was a night full of blast and surprises.
This blessed synod was not just a feast for the physical body but a camaraderie of faith, family and love a testament that our Parish stands as one in prayer and service. To God be the Glory and with the intercession of our Blessed Mary our mother. (Rachel Lacno | SLRP Catechist)
