3rd Parochial Fiesta of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish
The Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish joyfully celebrated its 3rd Parochial Fiesta last December 12, 2025, guided by the theme “Mga Piniyalan Uban Sa Gasa sa Dios Uban Ni Maria, Ang Birhen sa Guadalupe.” It was a day filled with prayer, thanksgiving, and simple joys shared by the whole parish community.
The celebration began early with the first Holy Mass, presided over by Rev. Fr. Ritzchild John S. Cariaga, DCD. This Mass set the tone for the day, inviting parishioners to come together in gratitude and devotion to Our Lady of Guadalupe.
At 9:00 AM, the parish gathered once again for the Pontifical Mass, presided over by Most Rev. Romulo G. Valles, D.D., and concelebrated by Rev. Fr. Ritzchild John S. Cariaga, DCD, along with other priests. In his homily, Archbishop Valles shared his joy in seeing the deep love and devotion of the community toward Our Lady of Guadalupe. He briefly recalled her story and highlighted the important role of St. Juan Diego, reminding everyone of the responsibility that comes with being chosen and trusted by God.
After the Mass, the celebration continued with a time of fellowship, where parishioners shared food and conversations, strengthening the bonds within the community. The day was made even more lively through the Dula sa Kapistahan, facilitated by the Youth Apostolate. Laughter, cheers, and friendly competition filled the area as everyone from the young to the young at heart joined in and enjoyed the festive games.
The 3rd Parochial Fiesta was a beautiful reminder that faith is best celebrated together through prayer, shared meals, joyful activities, and a community united under the loving guidance of Our Lady of Guadalupe. (Kristelle D. Billones – Parish Youth Coordinator)
