HCDC claims spot in 2026 AppliedHE All-Asia Private University Ranking

The Holy Cross of Davao College has been officially listed in the 2026 AppliedHE All-Asia Private University Ranking, securing 214th place in Asia, 34th in the Philippines, and 5th in Davao Region.

HCDC’s inclusion in AppliedHE All-Asia’s prestigious list underscores its commitment to meeting high standards across multiple performance dimensions, including teaching and learning quality, graduate employability, research output, community engagement, internationalization, and institutional reputation.

The Commission on Higher Education-Davao (CHED XI) also commended HCDC’s milestone, noting its rising presence and competitiveness of Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs) in Davao Region and across Asia.

“We are honoured to be recognized by AppliedHE among leading institutions across Asia. This affirmation encourages us to continue strengthening our academic programs, improving student and graduate outcomes, and expanding our global engagement,” HCDC president Br. Noelvic H. Deloria, S.C. said.

AppliedHE, based in Singapore, is an independent higher-education ranking and rating agency known for its transparent, multi-criteria evaluation methodology. Its annual rankings recognize private universities demonstrating excellence in key academic and operational indicators.

The certificate—signed by Mandy Mok, Founder & CEO of AppliedHE Pte. Ltd.—was officially awarded to Br. Noelvic H. Deloria, S.C., President of HCDC, and Dr. Teresa P. Fabiania, Vice President for Academic Affairs, during the awarding ceremonies held during the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA) Assembly last December 5.
