He is near, the Light has come!

San Roque Parish Malabog officially lit its Christmas Trees and Parols last December 15, 2025. The Christmas Trees were crafted by the GSLs, while the Parols were beautifully made by the youth, allowing each zone to showcase their creativity and tell their stories through craftsmanship.

The event began with a Holy Mass, presided over by Rev. Fr. Amado Arroyo, Parish Priest. The celebration was graced by parishioners from the GKKs across the 12 zones, reflecting their excitement and anticipation for the most awaited season of the year. Following the lighting ceremony, the stories behind each design were shared, highlighting the meaning, effort, and devotion poured into every creation.

The event was not merely a showcase of creativity, but also a reminder that there is joy in the season of waiting. The lights offer us a glimpse of what the future holds, allowing hope to rise in our hearts. Through this celebration, we are reminded to prepare ourselves so that, at His birth, we may be ready to receive the immense grace that He brings.
