Fluvial Procession of Faith and Devotion

The waters along the coasts of Maco, Mabini, and Pantukan, including the island of Kopiat, came alive with prayer, joy, and vibrant devotion as the images of the Sto. Niño, the Blessed Virgin Mary, and St. Joseph were carried in a solemn yet festive fluvial procession. Boats of all sizes sailed together, beautifully adorned, forming a moving tribute of faith offered by the coastal communities.

The celebration was further graced by devoted faithful aboard their small boats, joyfully dancing and fervently praying for the intercession of the Sto. Niño. Adding to the spirit-filled moment, even the priests aboard joined in the celebration—dancing to the rhythm of Pit Señor while reverently holding the image of the Sto. Niño—reflecting a faith that is both joyful and deeply rooted.

Amid the waves, chants, songs, and the resounding cry of “Pit Señor!” echoed across the sea, making this sacred tradition a heartfelt highlight of the festivities of the 63rd Parochial Fiesta of Sto. Niño Parish, Mabini—a living testimony of a people united in praise, thanksgiving, and hope. (Ditascom)
